The principles below guide the design and the roadmap. They describe intent for a product that is still being shaped — none of it ships until it is genuinely ready.

Global from day one

Built in India, designed for people everywhere: English first, with Indian and other languages planned so nobody is treated as an afterthought.

People over virality

A feed that rewards useful, human posts instead of outrage. Slower, kinder defaults — designed so attention is not the product being sold.

Privacy by design

Collect the minimum, explain everything in plain language, and give people real control over their data and their audience.

Creators keep their work

Clear rules, portable content and fair economics — so building an audience on Helooo never becomes a lock-in trap.

Made in India, open to all

Indian craft, engineering and design sensibility, aimed at a worldwide audience rather than a single market.

A rough order of work. Timing depends on what we learn, and every stage may change.

    Foundations

    Website, waitlist, brand direction and design studies are underway. Community sign-ups are open to everyone.

  2. Next

    Design previews

    Waitlist members get periodic looks at the direction being explored, and a say in the trade-offs we are weighing.

  3. Then

    Closed alpha

    A small invited group tests a private build. This is the first point at which any social feature can be used at all.

  4. Later

    Public launch

    Wider access, starting with India and expanding outward. Dates will be published only when they are real.

Founding community

Help shape it before it exists

Early sign-ups are more than an e-mail list. Founding members are the first people we talk to while the product is still a set of decisions.

  • Real input. Occasional questions about features, tone and trade-offs before they are locked in.
  • Behind the build. Honest progress notes on what worked, what did not, and what changed.
  • First invites. Waitlist members are considered first for the closed alpha when it happens.
  • Founding badge. Early members are recognised at launch — an aspiration, not a shipped feature.

We send a maximum of two updates per month.

Early-stage project: joining the waitlist does not give you access to a product, because the product does not exist yet.

Privacy notice

What we do with your address

  • What we collect: your email address, your consent record and timestamp, and a coarse, one-way hashed signal used only to rate-limit abuse. We do not store raw IP addresses, payment details or messages, because we do not collect them.
  • Why: solely to operate the Helooo waitlist, to contact you about the project, and to prevent spam.
  • Who hosts it: Cloudflare (site, D1 database and CDN) processes the data on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or share your address with advertisers or third parties.
  • How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every update carries a one-click unsubscribe link, or e-mail us and we will remove you.
  • Your rights: you may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by writing to contact@helooo.com. We respond within a reasonable period and no later than applicable law requires.
  • Consent: you opt in explicitly when you tick the box. If Helooo later sends a confirmation message, it is for verification of your address only.
  • Children: the waitlist is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

This notice covers this website and the waitlist only. It does not cover a future Helooo product, which will get its own privacy policy before any product launches. Last updated: October 2026.
